Looking ahead to 2022, some investors may be weary of what’s to come as inflation continues to threaten economic recovery. Meanwhile, bearish headlines may elevate their concerns as the Federal Reserve says they’ll raise rates three times next year, Joe Biden continues to press for passing of his high tax plan, and a once “gold mine” asset like Bitcoin is now in a deepening slide.
Could one (or all) of these be the issue that unwinds capital markets in 2022? One thing is certain: the economy is not bulletproof, and investors who’ve bet on this may be in for a wake-up call.
